How to permanently delete your OdoReach account and all associated data.

What Gets Deleted?

We will delete:

  • ✓ Your account and profile information
  • ✓ Your email address and phone number
  • ✓ All campaigns and drafts
  • ✓ Contact lists and customer data
  • ✓ Message logs and conversation history
  • ✓ Billing records (after 7-year legal retention)
  • ✓ Analytics and performance data
  • ✓ All backup copies

Exception: We retain transaction logs for 7 years to comply with Indian tax laws. This data is anonymized and not linked to your identity.

Before You Delete

Please note:

  • ⚠ Deletion is permanent and irreversible
  • ⚠ You will lose access to all your campaigns and data
  • ⚠ Your WhatsApp Business Account will NOT be deleted (stays with Meta)
  • ⚠ Download your data before requesting deletion if needed
  • ⚠ Deletion takes 30 days to complete

This action cannot be undone. Make sure you have backups of all important data.

Deletion Timeline

Day 1: Request Received

We confirm your deletion request via email

Days 2-7: Grace Period

You have 7 days to cancel the deletion if you change your mind

Days 8-30: Deletion Process

We permanently delete all your data from our systems

Day 31: Confirmation

Final confirmation email sent. Your data is completely removed.

How to Request Deletion

Step 1: Send Deletion Request Email

Step 2: Include This Information

• Your full name

• Email address associated with OdoReach account

• Subject line: "REQUEST: Account Deletion"

• Statement: "I request permanent deletion of my OdoReach account and all associated data."

Step 3: Verify Identity

We may ask you to verify your identity by:

  • • Replying from your registered email address
  • • Providing your account phone number
  • • Answering security questions

Step 4: Confirmation

Once verified, we will:

  • • Send confirmation email with deletion details
  • • Provide 7-day grace period to cancel if needed
  • • Begin deletion process after 7 days

Backup Your Data First

Before requesting deletion, we recommend downloading:

  • • CSV export of all campaigns
  • • CSV export of all contacts
  • • CSV export of all transactions/billing
  • • Screenshots of important data

Tip: Go to your dashboard Settings → Export Data to download everything before deletion.

What About Meta?

Important: Deleting your OdoReach account does NOT delete your WhatsApp Business Account.

Your WhatsApp Business Account stays with you

Your WhatsApp number and account are registered under your Meta Business Manager and will not be affected by OdoReach deletion.

Your customer data remains on Meta servers

Message history and conversations with customers are stored on Meta's servers. To delete that data, you must request it from Meta directly.

FAQ

Can I cancel deletion after requesting?

Yes, within 7 days. Reply to our confirmation email with "CANCEL REQUEST" and we'll stop the deletion process.

Will my data be securely destroyed?

Yes. We delete data using cryptographic erasure and multiple backup purging to ensure complete removal.

What about data Meta has?

OdoReach cannot delete data stored on Meta's servers. You must contact Meta/WhatsApp separately to delete conversation history.

Can I create a new account after deletion?

Yes, after 30 days. Use a different email address or the same email (after 30 days).

Do you keep my billing records?

Yes, for 7 years (Indian tax law requirement). These are anonymized and not linked to your identity.
